Southern Building Control Partnership is a new and exciting shared service delivering a Building Control service on behalf of Tandridge District Council, Mole Valley District Council and Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.
We are looking for you to join our team on a 6 month fixed term contract to provide administrative support to the building control team and carry out routine administrative duties. Flexible working is in operation but an 8:30am start will be required on most days.
You will be supervised on a day to day basis however you will need to be organised and confident with a good telephone manner and capable of working independently when necessary. A positive attitude and good team spirit is essential, as is a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages – Word, Outlook and Excel. A new Cloud based system is being rolled out across the service on a Salesforce.com platform and integrating Box document management and Office 365 systems so confidence in learning the latest software applications will be key.
You will be given full on the job training so that as your knowledge and experience grows, within the partnership, you can take on further duties as listed below. At the end of the contract you will have widened your knowledge and skills of cloud based systems, the Public Sector and Building Control.
