<h2>About the role</h2><p>You will be working within the administration team, directly reporting to our Senior Administrator. The team are responsible for delivering electrical testing across&nbsp;multiple sites and homes within Brighton and Hove. You will be responsible for planning and scheduling diaries for electricians and their Supervisors&nbsp;who deliver high standard electrical upgrades and tests in both domestic and communal areas&nbsp;across the City. You will also liaise directly with contractors and electricians and undertake general administration duties such as making and receiving telephone calls, printing, collating and filing documents and sending and receiving emails and letters.</p><p>You will have excellent IT and customer service skills and an understanding of the needs of our diverse staff and customers and be able to tailor delivery accordingly to the highest standard and most efficient timescales.</p><p>This is an opportunity to develop administration skills within the Repairs and Maintenance industry and&nbsp;play an important role in a team who provide a crucial service for the local community.</p><p>In return for your skills and hard work, we offer:</p><ul>

<p>Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is term-time only. For part time applicants, where your working week is less than the council’s basic 37 hour week, contracted overtime rated pay will not form part of your working hours. This is because overtime rated pay is payable for hours worked in excess of the council’s basic 37 hour week. Your starting salary will be pro rata based on the basic annual salary elements of pay between £27,254 &amp; £27,694.</p>
