Current areas of work include: Sustainable Transport Scheme Monitoring and Evaluation; Transport Strategy and policy development linked to our ambitious growth agenda and emerging local plan; School Streets Projects; and the move to Digital Traffic Regulation Orders.</p>\n<p><strong>About You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive experience in researching, evaluating and writing transport policies and strategies.</li>\n<li>Experience in contributing to the design, development and delivery of sustainable transport schemes and initiatives.</li>\n<li>Experience in consultation facilitation.</li>\n<li>Strong leadership and management skills.</li>\n<li>Experience in the monitoring and evaluation of transport and highways schemes and projects including GIS based working.</li>\n<li>A creative approach to problem-solving.</li>\n<li>An organised approach to work and meeting deadlines.</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with varied audiences, including members of the public.</li>\n<li>A professional approach, and the aptitude to work on your own initiative.</li>\n<li>Desire to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Us</strong></p>\n<p>Stockport has been recognised nationally as a great place to live and work.
