<p><strong>Do you have a passion for supporting senior management and driving service excellence? Join us as our Corporate Support Team Leader and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our Corporate Services.</strong></p>
<p><strong>About the Role:</strong><br>As Corporate Support Team Leader, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage the Corporate Management Team Support staff, providing high-level personal support to the Chief Executive and senior leaders.</li>
<li>Act as Deputy to the manager, supporting compliance with UK GDPR, Freedom of Information, and records management.</li>
<li>Oversee diary and email management, meeting support, travel arrangements, and correspondence drafting.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain systems for accurate recording, secure storage, and appropriate retention of council data and information.</li>
<li>Manage team performance, conduct appraisals, identify training needs, and ensure seamless service delivery.</li>
<li>Liaise with councillors, MPs, external partners, and internal teams, handling sensitive and confidential information with tact and diplomacy.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You:</strong><br>You will have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience providing executive support at a senior level within a complex organisation, ideally in local government.</li>
<li>Line management experience, with a track record of motivating and developing staff.</li>
<li>Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>An understanding of information governance, data protection, and compliance requirements.</li>
</ul>
