<p>We have a vacancy for a Planning Policy Technical Officer to take on an important role in our Planning Policy Team and support the preparation of our new local plan. </p><p>The successful candidate will take a leading role in the technical elements of the preparation of a new local plan, such as the management, collation and preparation of data, GIS support and preparation of maps, development of a digital plan and maintenance of the key databases for engagement. <p>2-year contract </p><p>£23,388p/a </p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking an apprentice to join our Place Protection Team, working mainly within Licensing. The role will be an administration and enforcement role concentrating on licensing, although at times may include providing assistance and cover for other team members as appropriate. </p><p>The successful candidate will work both in and out of the office administering and processing applications for licences and dealing with the maintenance of licences already issued. The role includes regular communication with applicants and licence holders face to face, in writing and over the telephone, and ensuring the accuracy of data held on our systems. The role also includes carrying out inspections of licensed premises and other businesses to ensure compliance with their licence, and associated enforcement actions. </p><p>The Place Protection Team seek to continually improve the service provided, and you will be actively involved in the implementation of systems to automate and streamline, as well as related reviews of processes and procedures. </p><p>You’ll get great support from experienced Licensing Officers, to help you achieve success and develop your confidence, and you’ll be working towards a Level 4 Regulatory &amp; Compliance qualification, as well as learning technical skills associated with the licensing team. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Licensing. </p><p>We are looking for an accurate, diligent, team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who has the ability to learn to use new IT systems and the desire to work in a regulatory role, to ensure that public safety and other licensing objectives are met. </li><li>standards</li><li>Participating in thorough deep cleaning of the school, especially for special events</li><li>Using a range of cleaning equipment, aids and agents, including vacuum cleaners, floor polishers and a range of appropriate cleaning materials</li><li>Collecting of waste from bins, including recycling bins</li><li>Adhering to good health and hygiene practices</li><li>Storing safely all cleaning materials at the end of the duty period in the appropriate storage facility</li></ul>
