We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice, with good communication and interpersonal skills, to join Customer Contact Community Interpreting Service

In exchange we offer excellent insight and training in the world of administration within Customer Contact environment, with support from managers and colleagues in our service.

The apprentice will support the Community Interpreting Service Team with day-to-day administration. Duties will include data entry, scanning documents, general filing, processing incoming mail, taking details of appointments and allocating interpreters, invoice processing, generating basic financial statistical information and communication with clients and interpreters using a variety of mediums including phone, fax, e-mail and letters. You will attend meetings with members of Customer Contact team and take minutes as required

An intermediate apprenticeship with Medway Council will also give you the opportunity to obtain an insight into a diverse, unitary local authority that could offer a wide range of future career opportunities.
