We also work with a wide range of partners including HMRC, Police, other Council departments and government agencies.&nbsp;This apprenticeship is run by Credit Services Association who are responsible for supporting you with your learning and carrying out assessments. Delivery will be a flexible combination of monthly, online group workshops, e-learning, structured workplace learning, tutorials, and mini projects. &nbsp;Your role will be linked to the knowledge, skills and behaviours in the apprenticeship standard and once you are competent in all these areas you will take an End Pont Assessment before successfully completing. You will receive support from a nominated mentor, throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.&nbsp;We are recruiting an apprentice on a fixed term contract to undertake the Level 6 Trading Standards Professional (Tobacco &amp; Vapes legislation) (circa 30 months).&nbsp;You will study the basics of trading standards work but with a focus on vapes and tobacco enforcement and either food standards, weights and measures or product safety all whilst gaining invaluable experience in the workplace in applying and putting this learning in practice. &nbsp;You will build and develop relationships with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders whilst promoting social inclusion and developing and implementing practices that uphold Brighton and Hove City Council’s equality and diversity policies.&nbsp;As well as the job related experience and apprenticeship qualification, you will receive all the benefits and opportunities of being an employee of Brighton &amp; Hove City Council, one of the City’s largest employers. The Post
Business Administrator level 3 Apprenticeship working in the Adult Social care, commissioning, contracting and market management team.
This role will help to support services within Adult care that provide assistance to Brent residents.
Key functionalities
<ul>
<li>Ensure that individual services are brokered in a timely manner, and that necessary IT systems information requirements are maintained to ensure that other processes such as client charging and billing; provider invoicing and contract monitoring can be maintained.</li>
<li>Respond to day to day concerns raised about the brokerage of services and/or the quality of services and that they direct enquiries to the relevant teams where further action is required.</li>
<li>Regular liaison will with case workers within the department.</li>
<li>Day to day liaison with care and service providers.</li>
</ul>
The Person
No experience is necessary as this is a training role, however, an understanding of the role is advantageous.
Keen to learn, you will demonstrate good communication skills, an understanding of good customer service, team work and an interest in developing a career in business administration.
You will also need to show your interest in local government and the delivery of public services. We will also be looking for a flexible and positive approach to work.

Qualifications required
English and Maths level 2 is desirable, but not essential and can be added as part of the apprenticeship training. However, the employer can choose to remove this requirement dependant on the candidate.

The apprenticeship is a Level 2 Horticulture and Landscape Operative, which includes Level 1/2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required) and will consist of an end-point assessment (EPA). Expected duration of the apprenticeship is 24 months with a possible start date of August or September 2025.
You will be guided through your apprenticeship in conjunction with a learning provider and mentor, using a structured framework to support your development, goals and success whilst building the knowledge and skills required to enhance your professional future.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will undertake regular rotations through various sectors of the Parks &amp; Countryside Department learning skills of a wide range of Horticultural disciplines including parks, cemeteries, arboriculture, sports, and artificial surfaces.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to communicate with a wide range of people including colleagues, members of the public, volunteers and work alongside ‘Friends of Parks’ and community groups on joint projects and be involved with other key partners, delivering a range of public and community-based initiatives.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship qualification and a full driving licence, an interview for a permanent position within Wirral’s Parks and Countryside Department will be made available to you.
We’re looking for team players who are good communicators and who show enthusiasm and personal drive. You must be willing to learn proactively and have an interest or experience of horticultural work. You will need to show commitment to continuous professional development.
You must possess a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and the ability to travel throughout the Borough using private or public transport. Ability to work flexible hours, with occasional evening, weekend, and bank holiday work.
These posts are annualised hours averaging a 36-hour week: Summer -36 five-day weeks at 40 hours, starting at 7am Winter -16 four-day weeks at 27 hours, starting at 8am
