An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Cook based at Craven Vale, which is a short term rehabilitation center.
Main advert detail
We are looking for someone who has previous experience of cooking preferably in a care setting. As an Assistant Cook you will be working as part of a valued and well run kitchen, cooking nutritious, varied and appetising meals for our service users which form an essential part of their treatment and recovery, this is including specialised diets. If you are successful you will support in the running of the kitchen maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, infection control and record keeping as well as having an interest in your own professional development and motivation to undertake training. In return you will receive support, guidance and access to training.
The post entails working on a rota basis that includes weekends and some bank holidays. You will need to be flexible in order to cover the rota in periods of absence.
