The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and London Borough of Wandsworth present a unique opportunity to be part of a team who are working together to create a ground-breaking shared staffing structure across both boroughs.

Opportunities have arisen for Assistant Team Manager positions in the Youth Support Service. You will report to a Youth Support Team Manager and work from one of three localities leading a Social Work and Targeted Support Team.

The team’s responsibilities include safeguarding young people, including those on child protection plans, court work, young people looked after and children in need. There are also responsibilities in terms of delivering the post Ofsted and Service improvement plans.

This is an excellent opportunity to become involved in all aspects of the future of the Youth Support Service in Wandsworth.

The candidate should be a qualified and experienced social worker.
