We are recruiting for experienced and enthusiastic electricians to join our Housing Repairs and Maintenance Team
Do you want to be part of our Electrical Testing and Compliance Team, ensuring Brighton and Hove City Council Housings electrical installations meet the requirements of the Wiring Regulations? Do you want to focus on your trade and not sourcing materials, writing quotes or chasing customers for payment? Do you have a full drivers licence? Do you have a City and Guilds level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations?

You will mainly be working in occupied properties within the Brighton and Hove area either on your own or in a small team. The key tasks will be:

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is term-time only. For part time applicants, where your working week is less than the council’s basic 37 hour week, contracted overtime rated pay will not form part of your working hours. This is because overtime rated pay is payable for hours worked in excess of the council’s basic 37 hour week. Your starting salary will be pro rata based on the basic annual salary elements of pay between £32,076 & £36,648.
