Do you have amazing organisational and interpersonal skills, like to be busy all day as well as have boundless energy to keep up with the energetic pace of little ones in a school environment?  If yes is the answer to these questions, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.  </p>\n<p>This role is central to the effective running of the school, you will need to manage expectations, think on your feet, not get phased, deliver the highest degree of professionalism and deal with all issues efficiently ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.  Each day will throw up a new challenge and rewards which are guaranteed to happen working in school. </p>\n<p>The office manager needs character and the key attributes we are looking for candidates are:   </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Friendly and professional manner</li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n<li>Sense of humor</li>\n<li>Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.</li>\n<li>Ability to work on your own initiative</li>\n<li>Commitment to teamwork</li>\n<li>A willingness to listen</li>\n<li>An aptitude to learn</li>\n<li>A willingness to get the extra mile to get the job done</li>\n<li>The ability to learn from both success and failures</li>\n<li>Experience of working in a busy office/school desirable</li>\n<li>Proficient user of IT packages in order to create spreadsheets, mail merge, letters and marketing material.</li>\n<li>Business management experience/finance acumen</li>\n<li>Managing staff</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you feel that you have the skills and personality to support the Headteacher and teaching staff, as well as ensuring the phones get answered and you have not got lost under a pile swim kits then this is the right role for you. </p>\n<p>Visits to the school are strongly recommended to all candidates.
