We are recruiting a Moving Homes Officers at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday)

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Community Housing Services Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £30,559 - £33,366 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new Moving Homes Team within Caerphilly Homes.
You will support the Moving Homes Manager to deliver high quality, customer focused services, having responsibility for managing occupation contracts and vacant homes, following receipt of notification of contracts ending, for allocation and letting of vacant homes in compliance with the Common Allocations Policy, through to settling in new contract holders, creating sustainable and successful mixed tenure communities.
You will work in partnership with colleagues to achieve the aims and objectives of Caerphilly Homes and contribute to the development of relevant policies and procedures.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A Relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
- A sound understanding of empty property management, social housing lettings and housing management.
- Experience of working in front line social housing management or other closely related field.
- A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence, and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit customers, communities and attend meetings.
