(FTE £25,854 - £27,030 p.a.)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>During our school at lunchtimes we run an exciting play project called OPAL and we now need four additional members to join our lunchtime team and support this initiative.</p>\n<p>Do you support the right for children to have high quality playtimes? <br>Are you approachable and able to work as part of a team? <br>Would you be able to encourage pupil engagement and foster good behaviour?</p>\n<p>If the answer is yes, you could be one of the people we are looking for to join our experienced team of lunchtime staff.</p>\n<p>This key role would be:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>To support the development of the play environment</li>\n<li>To support communication on play to the whole school community</li>\n<li>To support effective risk management in play</li>\n<li>To develop effective playwork practice within the play team.</li>\n<li>To support the provision and maintenance of loose parts and play resources</li>\n<li>To report to the Curriculum lead for Play</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Applicants should be able to talk about how they demonstrate the following qualities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>enthusiasm</li>\n<li>a sense of humour</li>\n<li>an ability to stay calm and patient</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As a member of our team you would use these qualities  to make lunchtime a positive and worthwhile experience for all of our pupils.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Please note that in line with KCSIE 2022, the school will conduct a pre employment internet search on all shortlisted candidates.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Please apply online </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Closing date:</strong> Friday 4th October 2024</p>\n<p><strong>Interview date:</strong> TBA</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all staff to share this commitment.
