We have an opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our Asset Management team and provide support to ensure an effective repairs service is provided to all Newlon residents. You will have a wide range of administrative duties including sending out letters, updating cases, monitoring work emails, making after care calls and satisfaction surveys, data entry, uploading certificates and assisting in meetings. You will also be required to handle customer enquiries that relate to these areas of work.
With proven experience of working in a customer-led service environment, dealing successfully with appointment bookings and customer complaints, you will have first class customer service and communication skills with the ability to deal with awkward customers and express yourself clearly. The SEN Service is seeking to recruit a Family Support Worker at SO1 grade. The post will be in the first instance fixed term until 31st March 2026. This is subject to funding. The post forms part of the Change Partnership Programme and will be part of our Local Inclusion Support Offer. This is a new concept for SEN and we are seeking a family support worker that will be able to work with our families and support them to embed skills started in school at home. They will be able to support families with some parenting skills where there are additional needs that are impacting on the family. This may be signposting to Early Help or support with housing needs. 
We would ideally like someone who has some experience or understanding of Social Prescribing. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the family are able to understand and engage in the education system and that the skills learned in school are embedded at home. You will directly report to the Programme Coordinator. You should be able to work with a range of professionals from education, health and social care. 
We are seeking a committed professional who must have education and SEN experience and be able to communicate effectively with families. You should have wider knowledge of education, health and social care support available to families and ensure that families are receiving the right support. Ideally knowledge of social prescribing would be a useful tool for this programme. We anticipate that you will be educated to degree level, have significant experience of the education, health, and social care system.

Habilitation Specialist

Job Title: Local Authority Designated Officer Starting Salary: £48,226 progressing to £53,460 per annum (pro rata for part time) Hours: 37.0 Location: Countywide Contract Type: Permanent Directorate: Childrens Services<h4>About the team</h4>The LADO service is the Local Authority’s statutory function for managing and overseeing allegations and concerns against professionals who work with children. The LADOs have a key role to provide specialist advice, guidance and training to organisations who employ staff in the children’s workforce and provide services to children in Hertfordshire. The service has a statutory responsibility to ensure the necessary investigations are carried out where necessary considering multifaceted perspectives of employment, child protection, criminal and regulation ensuring staff are treated fairly and supported to improve practice where possible but also to ensure those responsible for managing staff do so effectively making sure risks to children from the workforce are mitigated and reported to the necessary bodies such as DBS. The team members hold a significant amount of safeguarding experience, the service is fast paced with staff undertaking fast paced and complex child protection activities on a duty basis working with a vast range of statutory agencies, partner agencies and regulatory bodies.
