Therapists work across developmental stages and diverse family structures, offering interventions within a multi-disciplinary framework. Central to the role is maintaining a caseload of families, where the therapist draws on advanced assessment skills and systemic formulation to guide evidence-based interventions. Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council, working together as part of&nbsp;&nbsp; the One Team, are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Emergency Planning Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.&nbsp;
This vital role will focus on reviewing and enhancing our current emergency preparedness and response arrangements, with a particular emphasis on out-of-hours response plans. You will ensure that our emergency and business continuity plans are robust, up to date, and fit for purpose, supporting the Councils’ ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.&nbsp;
In addition you will need to support the Corporate Manager for Facilities &amp; Compliance, Director if Assets &amp; Investments and other senior officers in the coordination of responses to Emergency planning/Business Continuity.&nbsp;&nbsp;

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Planning Officer with a working knowledge of the Civil Contingencies Act and a good understanding of the part Local Authorities play in the response to a major incident.&nbsp; You should be able to develop and deliver training and exercises and have good interpersonal skills to be able to confidently present to audiences at all levels of staff and management.&nbsp;

What You’ll Be Doing As a Senior Technical Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our corporate and community buildings are fully statutory compliant and functional. You will lead on innovative and cost-effective approaches to planned preventative maintenance, repairs and health and safety, working closely with our in-house engineering team and specialist M&amp;E contractors to ensure our facilities are always operating in accordance with associated legal legislation, efficiently and effectively. We are seeking someone who brings a strong technical background in mechanical and/or electrical systems, with the confidence and expertise to audit and scrutinise works to ensure they meet Camden’s high standards. You will be experienced in competitively procuring and managing specialist contractors, ensuring both planned and reactive maintenance is delivered efficiently, expediently and to a professional standard. Your ability to interpret and implement planned maintenance strategies will be essential, as will your talent for building collaborative internal and external relationships with colleagues and contractors across services, including Asset Management and Technical Support, to enhance long-term planning and lifecycle programmes. You will be a natural communicator, able to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible advice for a wide range of stakeholders. Your analytical skills will help you gather, interpret and present data that informs decision-making and drives service improvements.
