Can you help us win opportunities to develop fantastic homes in London? Are you a Bid Manager or a Project Manger looking for your next role? Join us.
Notting Hill Housing is one of London's leading housing associations with a commitment to provide good quality housing to those that otherwise couldn't afford it. We are inspired by the impact we can have and are passionate about creating a better London.
Our Development and New Business team is growing following sustained successes. In the last year we've won two thirds of our bids submitted. These include major regeneration schemes, TfL sites, a new Civic Centre and numerous affordable housing schemes across London. We're significantly exceeding our annual target of 1,600 new homes and as our proposed merger with Genesis Housing Association will see this target rise to 2,700, we want you to join our team as we grow.
We are offering a great opportunity for an innovative, organised and personable Bid Manager to lead bid teams working with top London architects and consultants. Your work will be critical to our success. By maintaining our ambitious pipeline of new developments across a range of London based schemes, you'll ensure that we remain one of London's top developers, competing against some of the country's biggest developers and contractors.
You'll work closely with the Senior Bid Manager and Director of New Business to bring together and manage bid-winning teams from the initial stages through to final selection - often against tight deadlines. We'll trust you to use the freedom we give you to think creatively about how to deliver great bids, and challenge you to improve and influence the way we work. At this unique time, you'll have a real opportunity to make a positive and lasting mark on this rapidly expanding team.
This is a varied and intense role that requires your unusual blend of skills. We need you to bring your ordered and creative approach to design, copy write and manage the production of our bid documents and ultimately win us new business. As well as being an unbeatable project manager, you'll be persuasive and influential - a top communicator.
We'll involve you in live projects immediately. Excellent written and presentational skills are essential and your experience in bid management or project management will be key in getting up to speed quickly. If like us, you're a dedicated professional willing to go the extra mile to meet deadlines and deliver great work, we'd love to hear from you.
In return for your hard work we offer you 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), health cash plan, season ticket loan, tenancy deposit loan, cycle 2 work scheme, childcare vouchers, life assurance and a generous contributory pension offer.
Applications for this role close at midday on 3 October 2017. Short listed candidates will be invited to interview and assessments on 13 October 2017.
We are committed to equality of opportunity and are proud to be certified as a Disability Confident Employer.
