Building Control Surveyor

Salary: up to £51,275 per annum with potential for bonuses and performance related pay. Car allowance of £2,000 +45p/mile

Due to the expansion of our company an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Control Surveyor based in Esher, Surrey. Elmbridge Building Control Services Limited is the first Building Control Mutual in the country. We are a staff owned company set up initially to provide the building control service on behalf of Elmbridge Borough Council.

We are looking for qualified building control surveyor to MRICS or MCABE with significant experience within a building control service and be a full member of the RICS, CABE or CIOB with evidence of continuous professional development and demonstrate competence in handling complex cases including enforcement cases.

You will be responsible carrying out day to day building control work as well as attending dangerous structure incidents. You should be able to think, plan and act with a creative approach to problem solving and delivery in demanding circumstances and with competing priorities.
