We’re looking for a dynamic and data-savvy Business Analyst to join our Transformation Team within the Communities and Opportunities Directorate. This is a pivotal role, supporting service redesign, digital innovation and improved outcomes for residents. You’ll have a hands-on approach and work across Housing, Community Safety &amp; Engagement and Libraries &amp; Community Hubs to drive meaningful change through insight and collaboration.&nbsp;This is your opportunity to shape services that matter. This is a varied role with key responsibilities including:&nbsp;<ul>
<li>Lead business analysis for transformation projects from discovery to delivery</li>
<li>Facilitate productive workshops with stakeholders to understand needs, refine requirements and identify opportunities</li>
<li>Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards to inform decision making</li>
<li>Develop and support Power Apps solutions to streamline workflows and improve service delivery</li>
<li>Translate complex data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation&nbsp;</li>
<li>Create documentation necessary and requested by project managers including options papers,&nbsp;feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis to support decision-making</li>
<li>Apply structured problem-solving and critical thinking to identify and shape the best solutions</li>
<li>Prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders</li>
<li>Support benefits tracking, risk identification and delivery planning</li>
<li>Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation</li>
</ul>About you You are a confident and collaborative professional with the following skills and experience:&nbsp;<ul>
<li>Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in public sector or transformation settings</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling and dashboard design</li>
<li>Experience of using Power Apps to create user-friendly, low code solutions&nbsp;</li>
<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high pressured environment, managing conflicting priorities</li>
<li>Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies</li>
<li>A proactive, self-starting approach with a commitment to continuously improve the services to residents</li>
</ul>Desirable skills and experience:&nbsp;<ul>
<li>Knowledge of Housing, Community Safety &amp; Engagement, Library &amp; Community services or local authority operations</li>
<li>Formal qualifications in project management or business analysis</li>
