1. Job Specific Information LGSS is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and pragmatic Business Support Officer to join the HR Management Team, based in central Cambridge. You will be supporting the HR Management team within a team of approx. 30 people, making this an exciting opportunity to work in an interesting and diverse professional administrative role. You will need to be both IT literate and numerate, with previous administrative experience, as you will be providing extensive support to the HR Management Team. An eye for detail and the ability to prioritise your workload is crucial. You will be responsible for; - Providing support to the HR Management team on projects and reports. - Providing diary support for the Head of HR Advisory - General office support, specifically providing a high level of customer service by managing the general HR phone line and providing first line support to enquires from across the Council, LGSS and external partners. - Maintaining and updating our team intranet on SharePoint - Using on-line systems to process invoices and other transactions Full duties and responsibilities are outlined in the attached Job Description and Person Specification. The individual will be required to take ownership of tasks and be supported to identify process improvements for work across the team.
