About the Role
This is a chance to join a talented team to deliver Bus Franchising for the Liverpool City Region as a key foundation for our ambition to have a modern, integrated and publicly controlled public transport system.
Bus franchising will give the city region greater control over fares, routes and timetables and allow services to be better integrated with the wider transport system.
As Operations Manager (Franchsing), you will be one of the senior leaders in the Franchising Programme, leading a team of experts on developing, procuring and operationalising the key areas that provide the foundation for a safe, affordable and accessible successful franchised network.
About the person
Reporting to the Head of Franchising, you will be a confident, collaborative and visible leader. You will lead the key operational activities needed for franchising, including Depots, Fleet and Network.
You will be able to evidence technical knowledge and experience in one or more of the key areas of Network, Fleet, Depots, Bus Operations.
Positivity, along with creative and innovative approaches to problem solving will be second nature to you and you will be skilled at translating ideas into practice.
