We have an exciting and unique opportunity to join the team based within Riverhead House Children's Residential Home in Louth. The vacancy is full-time and permanent.
Our Business Support employees are based full time in our Residential Homes but are not directly involved in the provision of direct support of a personal or social care nature to children and young people. This role is part of our Business Support team who are an integral part of each Residential Home team in making sure everything is running behind the scenes!
A typical day in a Children’s Home (if such a thing exists!) can involve covering reception duties, supporting purchasing activities in the Home, records management tasks and liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders from partner agencies, colleagues from other departments, visiting professionals and most importantly the children and young people themselves. Customer service and communication skills are key in this role!
Business Support work very closely with the Residential Staff team and together it is a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment. You will be supported with all elements of training in this role to provide high quality service to the Home Manager and the team on site, whilst providing occasional cover for other Homes remotely.
There is a high degree of variety, autonomy and independent working in this role to support the site and residents, but you are always part of a wider team on hand to support and advise.
