This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Setting and School Effectiveness Service's senior leadership team. The service is responsible for maintaining an overview of the effectiveness of aeducation provision for children and young people in Brent, and for promoting high standards.
As a School Effectiveness Lead Professional you will provide professional challenge and support to the leaders of a group of schools to help ensure that all of the borough’s children and young people access high quality education and achieve the best possible outcomes. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team of the service you will take the lead on an agreed area.
The Person
We are seeking a highly motivated colleague with recent, relevant and substantial senior leadership experience in a culturally diverse school or local authority, with a proven track record of ensuring high quality education provision.
You will have knowledge of the current legislative requirements in which schools and their governing boards operate, and of effective practice. The ability to make sound judgements on the basis of evidence, identify key issues accurately, understand indicators of performance, and interpret data accurately is essential.
You will be able to show initiative, tenacity and adaptability in order to influence others and move an agenda forward, and you will have personal and professional credibility.
