Job Requirements
The Governors of St William of York Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, energetic and caring Teaching Assistant to work in our Nursery with our 2 and 3 year olds, and contribute to our successful and hardworking team. The post is fixed term for one year initially depending on satisfactory performance & funding. The post is 32.5 hours per week 8.30am to 3.30pm with half an hour lunch break. Monday to Friday, Term Time only (44 weeks).

The successful candidate will have:
• Relevant qualifications and experience suitable for working with children of primary school age
• An ability to work as part of a close and friendly team of Class Teachers and other Teaching Assistants.
• A high level of patience and understanding.
• Enthusiasm and passion about working with children to support their needs and help them reach their potential.
• Excellent basic skills in literacy, numeracy and good spoken English.
