What You’ll Be Doing / How You’ll Be Involved
We are looking for a creative and insightful Early Childhood Worker to join our multi-disciplinary team. The main objective for this post is to deliver high quality stay and play services and crèche provision that supports children’s early learning and development, using the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, contributing to improved outcomes for children and their families in the London Borough of Camden. This includes supporting the early and sustained engagement of children and families in the 0-2s focused pathway, especially for those most at risk of poor outcomes.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS. Please note Camden also offers the DBS update service.

To be considered for this post, we are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic childcare professional. You must possess a Level 3 or above NVQ in Childcare and Education or an equivalent qualification and have gained experience working in group childcare and/or delivering stay and play services.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, coupled with an understanding of Safeguarding Children procedures and how to implement them, as well as knowledge of early childhood development (under 5s). You will have gained an insight into factors that can adversely affect outcomes for children and families and procedures and interventions to improve outcomes. The role includes Saturday working.
