About the role
Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a dynamic environment? Are you interested in data protection and information governance? Are you available for a couple of months and looking for flexible working hours?
If so, Crawley Borough Council has an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking organised and proactive individuals to join our team on a casual basis to assist with our high volume of Freedom of Information requests, Subject Access requests, and postal vote refreshers. Your strong administrative skills will ensure swift and accurate responses, contributing to the Council’s commitment to transparency.

Requirements:
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience in handling personal data and using Microsoft SharePoint (preferred)
- Previous experience in local government (advantageous)
We are seeking someone who is able to start immediately. This role includes cover during the summer period (from June to September), so availability during this time is essential.
