We are focused on ensuring transparency and providing value for money, working closely with residents and contractors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and any concerns are addressed promptly.</p><br><p><strong>About the Role and Our Ideal Candidate</strong></p>We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team, providing weekly cleaning of communal blocks at the Cambridge Road Estate. As a frontline point of contact between residents and estate services, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be confident in raising repairs, conducting daily and monthly health and safety inspections, and supporting basic grounds maintenance through outdoor work. The mobile estate warden will work alongside the team who are based at Surrey Towers in Addlestone. You will be responsible for visiting the Council’s different sites, across Runnymede to ensure we continue to provide a first-class cleaning service for our residents. Previous experience of domestic/commercial cleaning is essential.</p>\n<p> <strong>About you</strong></p>\n<p>The role requires someone who has previous experience within the cleaning industry and is able to engage positively with our residents and other team members within the council is very important. An understanding of current health and safety and COSHH would be an advantage.</p>\n<p>This role will require travel across the borough using a company vehicle, so a driving licence is essential. The role will require you to work both alone and as part of a team depending on the needs of the job. You will be required to provide occasional out of hours, on call cover, with emergency assistance.  Some previous experience using various Microsoft applications to log site visits and fly tipping issues would be an advantage although training will be provided.
