In particular, Kingston has a large Sri Lankan Tamil community and is home to more people from Korea than any other part of the UK.<br><br><strong>About the Role</strong> <br> <br>The CRE Estate Services Team is a multidisciplinary team looking after 3 of the councils housing estates (Cambridge Road Estate, Cambridge Gardens and Arun House) located in Kingston The range of services the team will deliver are: Block Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Bulk/Graffiti Removal, Minor Communal Repairs and responding to other estate issues.<br><br> We are looking for a practical and enthusiastic caretaker to join the service, keeping the Cambridge Road Estate/ Cambridge Gardens safe and clean during regeneration works. <br><br>The role reports directly to the CRE Estate Manager and forms part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that the council's housing estates are tidy, litter free, clean, safe and assisting in keeping the communal areas in a good state of repair.<br><br><strong>About Us</strong> <br> <br>The Estate Caretaking Team at CRE is a newly created team with the roles generic covering both cleaning and neighbourhood response services, the estate is undergoing large-scale regeneration to deliver more and improved affordable housing in the KT1 postcode area of Kingston.
