At Larchwood Children’s Short Break Unit, we are looking for a dedicated Cook/Housekeeper to help us create a safe, welcoming environment and provide nutritious, home-cooked meals tailored to individual needs.

You are organised, reliable, and passionate about delivering high standards, whether that is preparing nutritious meals, maintaining Larchwood's outstanding cleanliness, or working as part of a caring team.
<h3>About the team...</h3>
<p>Larchwood Children’s Short Break Unit provides short breaks and overnight respite care for children and young people with severe and complex needs.</p>
<p>Working at Larchwood is both rewarding and challenging. You will be part of a team that cares passionately about the work we do and values the importance of supporting one another.</p>
<p>Our children and young people are all unique and require individualised care. Our staff strive for excellence, ensuring that the care we provide is responsive to each child’s or young person’s views, wishes and feelings.</p>
<h3>Key responsibilities…</h3>
<ul>
<li>You will be responsible for the daily cleaning duties to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness at Larchwood.</li>
<li>You will be raising health and safety concerns appropriately.</li>
<li>You will prepare home-cooked meals in accordance with the requirements of relevant legislation.</li>
<li>You will ensure individual dietary needs are understood and catered for.</li>
<li>You will be aware of allergens within foods and ensure safety when preparing and cooking meals.</li>
