<p>Charles Darwin C.P. School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Kitchen Assistant to work 4 hours a day, between the hours of 9.00 am-1.00pm, Monday to Friday during term-time (38.4 weeks per year).</p>
<p><strong>Summary of Role:</strong></p>
<p>Accountable to the Kitchen Supervisor.</p>
<p>Supporting the Kitchen Supervisor in the day to day running of the kitchen in compliance with relevant Health &amp; Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.</p>
<p>Assist in the school’s kitchen and dining room in the preparation of food and food service, washing up, general cleaning and other tasks associated with catering.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be required to prepare food and beverages including simple cooking.</p>
<p>Must possess the ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.</p>
<p>Punctuality, reliability and capacity for hard work are essential.</p>
<p>A moderate amount of lifting is necessary in the execution of the post holder’s duties such as the movement of dining furniture, saucepans and provisions.</p>
