Part Time Playworker - Before and After School Club
We are looking to appoint a hardworking, friendly and enthusiastic playworker to join our dedicated and committed team that run our before and after school club.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the supervision of pupils, leading games and activities, the preparation of food, cleaning duties, and liaison with parents, families and colleagues in school. The grade 2 post will be for 12.5 hours a week, across 5 days, during term time only. The working pattern is Monday 3.00pm-5.00pm, Tuesday 3.00pm-5.30pm, Wednesday 3.00pm-5.30pm, Thursday 3.00pm-5.00pm and Friday 7.30am-9.00am & 3.00pm-5.00pm
It is essential the candidate is a good team member, enjoys working with children, is able to use their initiative and make decisions in line with the school’s policies.
The successful candidate will be calm, and consistently follow our inclusive procedures; taking into account pupil ages, disability and behaviour.
A level 2 childcare qualification is desirable as is a knowledge of basic food hygiene, health and safety procedures and first aid.
