A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Education Excellence for a SEN Casework Officer.
Working as a SEN Casework Officer some of your responsibilities will include the following:
To work as a member of the SEN team to ensure the statutory requirements currently relating to the assessment of children with SEN are met within the current Performance Indicators including:
<ul>
<li>Processing of requests for Statutory Assessments.</li>
<li>Preparation &amp; circulation of letters to parents &amp; professionals.</li>
<li>Requesting &amp; tracking provision of advice.</li>
<li>Preparation of EHC plans.</li>
<li>To ensure that parents &amp; young people are fully involved in drawing up EHC plans, and in reviews and assessments.</li>
<li>To work in partnership with parents &amp; other service users to ensure that the need for mediation, tribunal and dispute resolution procedures is kept to a minimum.</li>
</ul>
This is a rare opportunity to join a positive, supportive and forward-thinking team who are committed to ensuring that quality services are provided to our children and young people with SEND. The post is a fixed term post to cover a maternity leave starting towards the end of October 2025.

Midday Assistant - Term Time only, Monday to Friday 12.00-1.15, 6.25 per week, Grade 2
An opportunity has arisen for a Midday Assistant to join our friendly team.&nbsp; We are looking for a warm, caring person with plenty of energy to join us in making lunchtimes safe, fun and happy for our children.&nbsp;
This post is a Grade 2 SCP 2, working 6.25 hours per week for 38 weeks per year.&nbsp; The pro rata salary is £3,361, with an hourly rate £12.26.
This role involves a certain amount of cleaning, overseeing children in the dining hall and ensuring safe playground play.&nbsp;
The governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified midday assistant who:
