Young Epilepsy is the leading national charity working exclusively to improve the lives of children and young people with epilepsy and associated conditions, and is based on a beautiful campus in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services.
Working under the direction of the Domestic Services Manager, you will work unsupervised in an assigned area of the site. This will involve opening and securing buildings and undertaking general cleaning duties including cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, offices and kitchens, as well as vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors and emptying bins.
This role includes the heavy lifting of items, and you will need to be physically able to move furniture and use heavy carpet cleaning machines.
You will have a background of working in a cleaning role, together with the ability to work unsupervised and a flexible attitude to your work, as you will be expected to support team members where required.
You will be a reliable and committed team player, with good time management and organisational skills and the ability to take direction from supervisors.
