About the Programme
Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP) is one of five sites across England, as part of ‘A Better Start’ programme initiative to transform early year’s services.

Facilitated by National Children’s Bureau (NCB) LEAP brings together communities, parents and carers, local statutory and voluntary sector organisations, across four wards in Lambeth. The partnership works to build strong and supportive communities, so that every child, from conception to reception, has A Better Start in life.

About the Role
The Community Engagement Officer will coordinate and ensure community engagement across LEAP services and initiatives working closely with local families, voluntary sector community and partners across four wards in Lambeth.

You will need to be able to evidence how you have engaged local communities and coordinated and supported community engagement activities

You will also be able to demonstrate how you have used your interpersonal, communication and networking skills to work with a wide range of organisations and stakeholders (including parents). Excellent planning and organisation skills are also required for this role along with good team working.

Funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund
