*Salary* £32,802 - £35,070 *Location* Old Town Hall, Catford Road, SE6 4RU *The Role* Lewisham Homes manages 18,000 homes on behalf of Lewisham Council. Our focus over the past 10 years has been to bring all our housing up to a modern standard and we have now begun to develop new homes, improve the environment and invest more in our communities. Our new Community Relations team will play a vital role in helping us understand and deliver what our communities really want. As Community Relations Officer, you will play a key role in our new team to help deliver an effective and co-ordinated approach to resident consultations, and other forms of community and stakeholder engagement, as well as support the delivery of a wide range of community projects and programmes. Your key responsibilities will be to: • Support the development of strong community and stakeholder relationships • Help plan and carry out consultations • Support the effective delivery of our community programmes • Keep our community web pages up to date and interesting We are proud of the difference we make in our community and we are looking for someone who is highly motivated to make a real difference to our residents’ lives. You will liaise with a wide range of external partners and support many different colleagues across the organisation; working especially closely with our Communications team. This is what we are looking for: • Experience of stakeholder and community engagement • Experience of evaluating campaigns or projects • Experience of producing communications materials • Knowledge of implementing related legal and regulatory frameworks such as DPA,DBS,Social Value Act This role is available initially as a 6-month, fixed-term contract but with possibility of extension.
