About the role
As a supporter journeys executive, you'll support with the design and delivery of impactful and engaging experiences for our supporters, ensuring they feel valued, inspired, and connected to our cause. You'll use insight and data to develop and improve journeys which help to grow lifetime value and supporter loyalty. You’ll be a key member of the team in helping to promote supporter experience across the charity and championing best practice across all departments. &nbsp;&nbsp;
About you
We’re looking for a team player with previous experience of working in a supporter or customer service setting. Together with the supporter journeys manager you’ll manage supporter journey projects, often multiple at the same time. To do so, it’s essential to have an understanding of good project management. Using all the data and insight available to you, you also be able to evaluate the performance of campaigns, products, tasks and activities we work on.
As you work with teams across the charity, you’ll need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, as well as a collaborative approach to help nurture relationships with different teams. Any experience you have of using a database and any email marketing platforms is desirable; alongside any knowledge you have of current data protection and compliance regulations.
While we expect some level of knowledge about supporter engagement, it is equally important that you show a willingness to learn and develop your skillset, whether it be new digital solutions or how we use data and insight to evaluate performance.

About this key role As our Pantry Volunteer, you will help with specific Pantry needs such as stock rotation, manual handling, speaking to clients, and making them feel comfortable within The Pantry. You will carry out and comply with all health and safety procedures and policies, ensure all labelling of food items are correctly displayed and ensure any items are within the correct date for displaying.&nbsp;
Positively supporting members and always maintaining confidentiality, and creating a welcoming, dignified, and well-mannered space for local members. Tasks will include stock handling, customer service, and light-touch support such as signposting and meal planning tips.
What we are looking for

<li>Previous experience of working within a retail and customer-facing role.</li>
<li>Supporting the daily running and operation of the Pantry.</li>
<li>Supporting the Pantry coordinator ensuring the shop is well-stocked, clean and presentable.</li>
<li>To carry out and comply with all health and safety procedures and policies, including food safety and manual handling.</li>
<li>To ensure all food items are correctly labelled and within the given use-by date.</li>
<li>Positively supporting members and always maintaining confidentiality.</li>
<li>To assist customers to choose their shopping items and to complete simple forms.</li>
<li>On occasion, offering meal planning advice along with recipes and food shopping tips.</li>
<li>Helping to unload deliveries and ensuring food is correctly stored.</li>
</ul>

The Pantry is a Social Supermarket which will support clients to access affordable and healthy food each week (for a maximum of six months) and offers both a responsive solution and a sustainable route out of poverty, ensuring people can access healthy food whilst getting the support they need.

About this important role
Our&nbsp;Voluntary Pantry Delivery Driver&nbsp;will safely drive between food collection points and St Giles Pantry sites across London, loading the vehicle with food in line with food safety and manual handling regulations.&nbsp; You will ensure your vehicle is checked for safety and cleanliness before each shift, report any incidents with management and calmly react to changing scenarios, such as traffic, while always being polite and courteous to other volunteers who may be accompanying deliveries.&nbsp;&nbsp;
On the road, and at the Pantries, you will be representing St Giles and so you will drive safely, responsibly and within the law and be courteous to all road users, staff, volunteers and members. &nbsp;At all times you will ensure that you are following St Giles’ health and safety policy and food safety standards protocols to consistently ensure safe collection and delivery of food is maintained.
What we are looking for
<ul>
<li>A full and valid driving licence (due to insurance requirements, this role is only open to applicants of 25 years of age or older)</li>
<li>You must be physically fit to be able to manually load heavy items into a van</li>
<li>Experience of working in a similar van delivery role, preferably in food distribution and use of chilled vehicles</li>
<li>Food safety and hygiene qualification or willingness to work towards one</li>
<li>Problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions ‘on the spot’</li>
<li>Good interpersonal and communication skills</li>
<li>An awareness of safety issues especially when driving, loading and unloading vehicles.</li>
</ul>

We are looking for Listening Volunteers to join our team at our new site based near Liverpool Street. Listening Volunteers provide ongoing face-to-face support to visitors on regular, fortnightly 4-hour shifts during which they meet with up to 3 visitors (for up to 50 minutes each). In order to ensure continuity for our visitors we require a one-year minimum commitment from our LVs, as well as three months’ notice of intention to leave.
No experience or qualifications are necessary – we provide full training in active listening.&nbsp; We look for warmth, empathy and resilience in our volunteers and the ability to be non-judgemental and avoid giving advice.
