We’re looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with outstanding customer service skills to join our Customer Services Team.

The successful candidate will work in our contact centre and on our reception desk.&nbsp; You will have experience within a customer service environment and possess excellent communication skills. In particular, you will be committed to service improvement and to providing excellent telephone and face-to-face customer care. With your&nbsp; flexible, courteous and calm&nbsp; approach you will learn how to resolve issues across the entire range of Council services.&nbsp; Computer literacy is essential as we make extensive use of technology and electronic systems.&nbsp;

Charity Shop Volunteer &nbsp; Be there when it matters as a Sue Ryder Volunteer &nbsp; As a Sue Ryder Volunteer in one of our charity shops, you will be one of the store’s friendly faces, helping us to provide the best customer experience whilst playing an important role in raising funds for our Palliative and Bereavement services.
The role: Our Sue Ryder shop volunteer roles are filled with variety and can cover many aspects of the role of a shop volunteer including:
• &nbsp; &nbsp;Donations and Gift Aid – meet donors, receive donations, sign donors up to Gift Aid • &nbsp; &nbsp;Sorting, labelling, pricing of stock • &nbsp; &nbsp;Greeting and helping customers • &nbsp; &nbsp;Serving customers on the till (training provided) • &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintaining shop displays, re-stocking, • &nbsp; &nbsp;Light cleaning/tidying duties to keep the shop inviting and well presented
More bespoke roles may include: • &nbsp; &nbsp;PAT testing • &nbsp; &nbsp;Upcycling • &nbsp; &nbsp;Social media and photography &nbsp; About you: • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Enjoy helping and engaging with customers • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Be enthusiastic and pro-active • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Have the ability to work as part of a team • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Be reliable &nbsp; Working as a volunteer at one of our Sue Ryder shops is not only a rewarding way to learn new and transferable skills but also a fantastic chance to make new friends and become part of your local community.
