Service Support Officer
About the role:
As a Service Support Officer, you will be at the heart of our customer experience. You will join a team of 10, delivering efficient and effective customer services to thousands of customers who use our Highways and Road Networks daily, making sure they have safe, reliable journeys.
Based at Mallory Buildings, Birkenhead, you will be helping us respond to approximately 2,000 enquires per month both from Wirral residents and Councillors.
About the Candidate:
We would like to hear from you if you have experience of dealing witha wide range of queries which maybe by an email, phone call or a letter, you will be providing the help or information our customers need in a timely and effective way.
You will also learn how to deal with and respond appropriately to customer queries and complaints and provide accurate, real-time information on issues to our residents, partner organisations and colleagues.
As well as gaining real life experience in a challenging and rewarding role you will learn how we manage customer service delivery and performance and how we work with Councillors, suppliers and contractors.

Location – Bootle Leisure Centre
Permanent 36 -hour post – Shift pattern in place– Evenings and weekends – please review rota pattern attached, to ensure you are available to work these set shifts.
An opportunity has arisen within Sefton Council for a full-time leisure attendant, based at Bootle Leisure Centre. The post is for a fully qualified NPLQ lifeguard to work as part of a team, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care are maintained.&nbsp; This role requires constant supervision of the poolside; you will need to be fully focused with the ability to remain vigilant, alert, and attentive.&nbsp; This position involves the setting up of equipment to meet the needs of the programmed activities and to undertake cleaning tasks to ensure the centre is well presented to the highest standard.&nbsp; The candidate will have a friendly and approachable manner to always maintain a high level of customer service.&nbsp; The candidate must be NPLQ qualified and must be able to demonstrate competency. &nbsp;Ongoing monthly training is also required.
Qualifications 
It is essential you have a current RLSS Royal Lifesaving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. A first aid at work qualification, AED or Pool plant operator’s certificates are also desirable.
