We're committed to achieving key objectives, including resolving up to 80% of queries on the first interaction, enhancing customer satisfaction, and minimizing the need for customers to make repeat calls in pursuit of resolution or action. Your contribution will make a direct impact on our commitment to delivering top-notch customer service!The Customer Service Advisor will be the first point of contact for all of the Council’s external customers, with enquiries/issues related to the following service areas:<ul>

</ul><h2>Additional information</h2>You don’t need experience across all aspects of the job as that will form part of your development journey, but you will need experience of working in a team and in a customer focused environment&nbsp;as this is the central to the role.You’ll need to have a solutions driven and adaptable approach to working, thrive in a busy environment with a positive approach to challenges!Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a customer based&nbsp;Face to Face and Contact Centre environment. Charity Shop Volunteer &nbsp; Be there when it matters as a Sue Ryder Volunteer &nbsp; As a Sue Ryder Volunteer in one of our charity shops, you will be one of the store’s friendly faces, helping us to provide the best customer experience whilst playing an important role in raising funds for our Palliative and Bereavement services.
The role: Our Sue Ryder shop volunteer roles are filled with variety and can cover many aspects of the role of a shop volunteer including:
• &nbsp; &nbsp;Donations and Gift Aid – meet donors, receive donations, sign donors up to Gift Aid • &nbsp; &nbsp;Sorting, labelling, pricing of stock • &nbsp; &nbsp;Greeting and helping customers • &nbsp; &nbsp;Serving customers on the till (training provided) • &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintaining shop displays, re-stocking, • &nbsp; &nbsp;Light cleaning/tidying duties to keep the shop inviting and well presented
More bespoke roles may include: • &nbsp; &nbsp;PAT testing • &nbsp; &nbsp;Upcycling • &nbsp; &nbsp;Social media and photography &nbsp; About you: • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Enjoy helping and engaging with customers • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Be enthusiastic and pro-active • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Have the ability to work as part of a team • &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Be reliable &nbsp; Working as a volunteer at one of our Sue Ryder shops is not only a rewarding way to learn new and transferable skills but also a fantastic chance to make new friends and become part of your local community.
