They will encourage greater community participation in the museum’s projects, programmes and initiatives, to achieve collective benefits across the district. \nYou will have experience of working in a customer facing environment such as a museum, gallery or retail space. This role involves planning and delivering collections-based events in the district, supervising volunteers and applying for funding for audience development projects. \nThis post requires some flexibility in working hours (occasional weekend and evening work as needed). Due to keyholder and call-out duties, the postholder must be able to respond to out-of-hours emergency or maintenance callouts on occasion.\nA full driving licence and access to a car are essential for transporting collections between museum buildings, and to other venues. \nA full enhanced DBS check is required for this post. \nUttlesford District Council is an inclusive employer and we welcome applications from all.
