The role
London Motivate Youth Worker
Southern Housings in house charity Fresh Visions supports children, young people and adults who face extreme disadvantage as a result of poverty, domestic abuse, lack of education and social exclusion.
This is a Part-time 9 Hours per week Fixed Term Opportunity to November 2025.
This role will be the working on the Charity's Youth Clubs for 10-16 year olds, Motivate. The programme supports young people to gain confidence, make informed healthy lifestyle choices and progress into further learning and employment.
If you're passionate about delivering a comprehensive health & wellbeing programme for our residents and participants. Then come and join Southern Housing as a Youth Worker within our social impact team.
You will be joining us on a fixed term contract until 28th November 2025. You will work three days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at three different locations from 3pm to 6pm.
To provide assistance in devising, planning and delivering an annual programme of young person-based projects and programmes. Ensuring activities contribute effectively to achieving measureable impact for young people's health & wellbeing progressions / outputs /outcomes. Helps deliver an annual work programme to help achieve the overall Social Impact Team targets.

What you'll need
- You'll ideally hold a relevant professional qualification in youth work/young persons' services or at least 2 years relevant youth work based similar experience.
- Successfully working with customers and community stakeholders to deliver youth provisions in line with current issues concerning young people.
- Successfully provide information advice and guidance to young people in groups and/or 1-2-1.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- You'll be experienced in supervising volunteers, project participants and young people.
- In addition, you'll develop and work in local project partnerships with other agencies/organisations including contracted co-workers/sessional workers.
