Teaching Assistant Grade 4 Winnington Park Primary School and Nursery
The Governors of Winnington Park Primary School and Nursery are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and caring Teaching Assistant (Grade 4) to join our welcoming and happy school.
The successful candidate will be committed to the best interests of our pupils, have high expectations of themselves and work effectively in a team. They will be able to motivate, encourage and nurture our children to achieve their best, and have a good knowledge of the expectations of the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage.
The role will involve working across all age ranges in the school, supporting pupils with their learning and development on a 1:1 basis as well as leading and supporting small groups of pupils with their learning. Previous experience of working with children who have Special Educational Needs is desirable as is previous experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage. A flexible and positive approach is essential in a busy and vibrant school.
The closing date is Friday 27th September at 12.00 noon and interviews will be in the following week. Visits to school are welcome and encouraged to experience the caring and positive ethos of the school. Please contact the school office to make an appointment (01606 74371).
We are committed to safe recruitment and ensuring the safety of our children; appointments would be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and satisfactory references. We may conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates as part of our safer recruitment processes.
At Winnington Park Primary School and Nursery we challenge, promote and encourage the highest standards of safeguarding practice through review, audit and scrutiny to ensure better outcomes for the children in our care. Our school fully recognises the contribution it can make to safeguard and protect all children and support pupils. The school is committed to creating and maintaining a safe learning environment for children and young people, identifying where there are child welfare concerns and taking action to address them, in partnership with families and other agencies. We aim to provide a safe, caring and happy environment for all members of the school community.
