The vacancy
As a Document Controller you'll play a vital role in managing and optimising our document control processes for new build development projects. Your day might start with organising and maintaining our SharePoint-based property document repository, followed by assisting Development Managers with metadata updates and document uploads. Later, you might provide training to internal users on system access, review handover documents for completeness, or address stakeholder queries related to document management.
You'll be the go-to expert for ensuring accurate and efficient documentation processes, driving collaboration across teams, and refining our systems to ensure they meet the needs of all stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll manage the SharePoint-based property document repository, ensuring all uploads, distributions, and records are accurate and up to date. This includes maintaining document retention timelines, assisting with construction project handovers, and managing access permissions for both internal and external users. You'll also play an active role in onboarding users to the system, addressing queries, and reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness. By adhering to established policies and procedures, you'll help ensure compliance and streamline document management processes across Peabody's development projects.

- Experience using Electronic Document Management Systems, ideally within property or construction.
- Advanced proficiency with SharePoint management (desirable).
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
