This will be 4 hours per day Monday to Friday term time and teacher training days.<br><br><strong>Post 2</strong></p>\n<p>We are looking for a teaching assistant to provide 25 hours enhanced adult support for a Reception pupil, to start 28th October 2024 and until such time as the child’s needs change or the child leaves our school. This will be 5 hours per day Monday to Friday term time and teacher training days.<br><br><strong>Post 3</strong></p>\n<p>We are looking for a teaching assistant to provide 20 hours enhanced adult support for a Year 2 pupil, to start 28th October 2024 and until such time as the child’s needs change or the child leaves our school. This will be 4 hours per day Monday to Friday term time and teacher training days.<br><br>It is crucial that you are sensitive to the needs of the individual child in order to ensure these needs do not inhibit their access to all aspects of school life and their progress in all areas.</p>\n<p>There will be opportunities for professional development and the chance to build a wide range of skills in classroom pedagogy, supporting individual children’s learning and their all-round development amongst a wonderful staff group with excellent experience.</p>\n<p><strong>The successful applicant will be expected to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support for the child’s additional needs throughout their time in school;</li>\n<li>Work towards the outcomes of the pupils’ Education Health Care Plan;</li>\n<li>Follow and implement provision plans including programmes from outside agencies;</li>\n<li>Prepare resources and teaching materials;</li>\n<li>Liaise with class teacher and SENDCo</li>\n<li>Liaise with outside agencies and parents, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>We are looking for candidate who has:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with pupils, staff, parents and other professionals;</li>\n<li>A drive to ensure children receive the appropriate support to achieve their potential;</li>\n<li>Experience of working in a similar role;</li>\n<li>The ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team;</li>\n<li>Flexibility and adaptability;</li>\n<li>A willingness to learn and develop existing skills;</li>\n<li>A sense of humour;</li>\n<li>A willingness to ‘go the extra mile’</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>In return, we will provide:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>An extremely strong and supportive team of colleagues;</li>\n<li>Professional development;</li>\n<li>An excellent atmosphere and work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you would like to join our team and help to further improve outcomes for our learners, then we would be delighted to hear from you.</p>\n<p>Visits to the school are welcome and can be arranged for a mutually convenient time.
