Service Manager
Elephant and Castle (On-Site)
Permanent, Full time
No DBS check required
£40,000 - £44,999
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to support our Penrose Drive service. In this role, reporting to the Head of Service (Criminal Justice), you will lead a service that supports high-risk offenders under probation supervision. You’ll oversee a residence housing up to 25 men of various ages, providing enhanced supervision through 24/7 staffing, night-time curfews, consistent rule enforcement, and a structured programme of supervision, support, and monitoring aimed at addressing offending behaviour and reducing risk.
Penrose Drive IAP is, at heart, a community setting, rather than a custodial one and residents can go out into the community, if they do not have any restrictions on their license. Security is therefore flexible in both design and operation. Independent Approved Premises are required to work within the Enabling Environments Standards Framework, a programme delivered by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with flexibility around these hours required. All managers, including this position will take part in the out of hours on call duty. Option for hybrid working can be discussed and agreed with Head Of Service.
LOCATION: Service 10 minutes walk from Elephant & Castle tube station
Please note that for successful candidates, interviews for this role will take place on Wednesday 27th November.
As an organisation, we complete an enhanced DBS check, due to the nature and service of this role, successful applicants for this position are also required to also complete a BPSS.
