Foxfield School is a popular, successful and growing special school for pupils aged 11-19 who have complex leaning difficulties (SLD, PMLD, ASC). There are currently 213 pupils on roll. The School moved into new, specifically designed premises, in 2015 and has excellent facilities as well as lots of potential for future developments.
The Governors would like to appoint a new Headteacher who can provide excellent leadership to build on the School’s current high standards and good reputation. The successful candidate is required to start from September 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter, and must have the skills, experience, vision and resilience to continue to take Foxfield School forward.
The Governors are looking for candidates who will have :
• Substantive experience of working with pupils who have significant special educational needs
• Considerable experience of being a successful special school leader
• A strong commitment to working in partnership with Governors, pupils, parents, staff, other services and stakeholders
