Tunbridge Wells Museum and Art Gallery is an exceptionally well-used service with rich collections and a national reputation for its audience development and outreach work. You will be joining our small, dedicated team at an exciting time as we move into the development phase of a Heritage lottery funded capital project.

We are looking for a Documentation Assistant to carry out documentation and registration duties at the Museum. You will work closely with the Collections Development Manager to ensure the overall care, access, conservation and information management of the collections. You will also help pack, move and locate collections as we decant the galleries and stores, and install them in temporary accommodation during the museum redevelopment.

You will be meticulous in your attention to detail, well-organised and able to keep yourself motivated during repetitive tasks. You will have a good all-round knowledge of collections management and of best practice standards such as Spectrum. You will also have excellent customer service skills and be enthusiastic about delivering an excellent Museum service with us.
