Are you a proactive team player with excellent communication skills and high operational and service quality standards? If so this is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the management team based at Bridge Park Community Leisure Centre.
Two post are available. The successful candidate will lead and supervise fitness staff or work on funding and increasing participation. In addition, you will also play a full part in the wider management functions such as monitoring the effectiveness of staff, organising duties, budgetary control, health and safety management and application, equipment maintenance and sales and promotion.
This is a position for an individual who is committed, hardworking and welcomes a challenge.
Candidates are to possess GCSE`s or equivalent in English and Maths and an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in sports and fitness/physical recreation or a marketing Certificate. Previous experience in, use of a manual or computerised booking system, cash handling/point of sales duties, safety issues within the workplace, oral and written communication skills will need to be demonstrated by the successful candidate.
The posts requires to possess a 1st aid 3 day qualification and be available to work a shift pattern that reflect the opening hours of the centre including weekend work and public holidays.
