About the Role
We are now looking to bring in a talented team to step up the pace in delivering this vision. As Head of Franchising, you will be responsible for creating a centre of excellence within the LCRCA to execute franchising responsibilities and the award of major contracts for the operation of bus and rail services across the region. This will include designing, negotiating and implementing commercial strategies that delivers excellent passenger services in terms of quality, performance and efficiency – all underpinned by an effective contractual framework.
About the person
Reporting to the Director of Transport and working as a member of the senior management team you will bring significant commercial and business development experience gained in a similar leadership role with accountability for commercial and contracting disciplines with an in-depth knowledge of contract management, procurement and service level agreements within the transport sector.
