The vacancy
As a Group Management Accountant, you'll deliver high-quality, timely performance information that supports effective decision-making at the most senior levels of our organisation.
In your role as a key member of the Management Reporting team, you will be responsible for producing insightful and meaningful financial reports which support strategic decision-making, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing valuable analysis that helps identify risks and opportunities. You will play an essential role in the month-end reporting process, updating financial models, reviewing key metrics, and preparing the Group Balance Sheet.
You'll need to be in the office for a minimum of 1 day per week and the remaining time you'll be able to work remotely.
You will be a strong communicator as you will collaborate closely with various departments to enhance data quality and integrity and contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

To be successful in this role, you're:
- A qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with experience preparing management accounts, ideally within a Charitable organisation, Housing Association, or Registered Social Landlord.
- Have extensive experience of preparing management accounts with insightful commentary.
- Confident working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple priorities.
- Skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Technically proficient with a strong understanding of financial reporting and controls.
- Experienced in using finance systems such as Sun Systems and data visualisation tools like Power BI (Desirable)
- Highly competent in Excel, with advanced skills to support financial modelling and analysis.
