Part of the role will be session delivery, supporting young people with work placements, their next steps, a hands-on community project and helping them with personal challenges that they may face.<br><br>You would also attend a 4 day team building residential activity 3 times a year. Building relationships with external agencies to advertise our programme and directly help with the recruitment of young people to the programme.<br><br><b>About you</b><br><br> <strong>Essential</strong>:<ul>\n<li> Strong communication skills. </li>\n<li> Ability to work in a Team, particularly in partnership with an Assistant Team Leader. </li>\n<li> Able to work on own initiative, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload. </li>\n<li> Organisational skills and self-motivation. </li>\n<li> Willingness to take responsibility. </li>\n<li> Good administrative and record keeping skills. </li>\n<li> Ability to identify suitable projects, placements and challenges. </li>\n<li> Full driving licence and use of own vehicle. </li>\n</ul><strong>Desirable</strong>:<ul><li> Ideally you will have experience of working with young people and an understanding of the challenges that they face today, but this is not essential as we will provide training to develop someone who has a 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to learn <br><br>\n</li></ul><br><br>This job role is within the Community Services, level COM7 job profile.
